DonorForge Makes Its Full Fundraising Platform Free for the Next 200 Nonprofits

As nonprofit software prices climb past $100 a month, DonorForge is giving its complete Pro plan away permanently to the next 200 organizations — no trial clock, no credit card, with a public live counter of the spots that remain.

July 21, 2026 — DonorForge, the donor-management platform for small and mid-sized nonprofits, today opened The Founding 200: the next 200 organizations to sign up receive the full Pro plan — list price $199 per month — completely free, for as long as they use it. Every organization that claims a spot is stamped with a founding member number and keeps every Pro feature: 20 users, unlimited campaigns, and the whole product. No credit card is required, and there is no trial expiration.

The offer is not a limited trial and not a freemium teaser. It is the complete paid product at $0, and the count is public: a live spots-left counter runs on the pricing page at donorforge.org/pricing#founding. When the 200th spot is claimed, standard pricing returns for new signups; the organizations that got in keep their rate.

The launch is a deliberate answer to a pricing problem that has pushed real fundraising tools out of reach for the smallest organizations. Bloomerang starts around $125 per month, DonorPerfect around $99 per month and up, and Network for Good — long the entry point for tiny nonprofits — has been absorbed into the enterprise-focused Bonterra. For an organization running on a shoestring, a working donor CRM has quietly become a line item it cannot justify, which is how so many end up back on spreadsheets.

DonorForge is built to replace that patchwork with one system. Donor records, one-time and recurring giving, pledges with auto-chased installments, public campaign pages, grants from application to payout, event ticketing with seating maps, tap-to-pay donation terminals, bookkeeping, and AI-generated reports all live in the same platform. Nothing is bolted on through a third party, and nothing about the Founding 200 accounts is stripped down — founding organizations run on the same product a paying customer does.

"The organizations that need a real donor CRM the most are the ones being priced out of one," the DonorForge team said. "The Founding 200 is not marketing math dressed up as generosity — it is the whole Pro product, free, for the next 200 nonprofits that walk through the door, with a counter anyone can watch tick down."

Nonprofits can claim a founding spot now at donorforge.org/pricing#founding. No sales call and no credit card are required to start.
